The German producer price index for industrial wood products showed little price change in November 2017 as compared to the previous month. The values vary in the range of less than 1% when compared with October prices. The only exception is raw chipboard, whose index has an increase of 2.22%.
However, when compared to the same month of the previous year, we can notice a significant increase of almost all values. Leading the way are again chipboards with a rise of 9.6% compared to November 2016. This is followed by construction timber with +5.16%, pellets with +5.03% and lumber with +4.39%. HDF plates are the only product that recorded a minor decrease by -0.43%.
