Canadian lumber production increased 3.0% from July to 4 628.8 thousand cubic metres in August. Production was 15.8% lower than in August 2018.
Sawmills shipped 4 776.5 thousand cubic metres of lumber in August, up 3.3% from July and down 17.9% from August 2018.
