On September 24th China will implement its own tariffs on USD 60 billion of imports from the US. Read further to see the full list of wood products affected and tariff levels.
The Customs Tariff Commission of the Chinese State Council published this morning, Sept 19th, the details of its resolution with regards to the next batch of tariffs, in response to the announcement made by the US on Monday 17th. Note that if the US carries through with its threats to increase tariffs to 25% end of 2018, it is highly likely that the Chinese government will reciprocate by increasing tariffs on the following list to 25%.
